Common questions

FAQ

What counts as evidence of my run?

A screenshot from a fitness app or GPS watch showing the distance and date, or similar proof (like a parkrun result). We review each submission manually rather than requiring a specific app.

How long do I have to complete a challenge?

Every challenge states its own completion window on its entry page - some are a few weeks, others run over several months for cumulative distance challenges.

Can I choose digital instead of a physical medal?

Yes - digital and physical are separate entry options with different pricing, so you can pick whichever suits you when you enter a challenge.

What happens if my evidence submission is rejected?

We'll let you know why and give you the chance to submit clearer evidence - we're looking to confirm you genuinely completed the distance, not to catch people out.

Do you offer official rankings or leaderboards?

No - UKVR challenges are completion-based rather than competitive, since routes and conditions can't be independently verified the way a marshalled course can. Any leaderboard shown is for fun only.

Can I get a refund if I change my mind?

Entry fees are non-refundable once paid, except where required by law or if we cancel a challenge outright - see our Terms & Conditions for full detail.
